1. What is a function?
A function is a special relationship between values: Each of its input values gives back exactly one output value.

2. What is the relationship between x & y?
If two variables x and y vary in such a way that each value of x corresponds to one and only one value of y, then y is said to be a function of x. Some functions can be represented by equations.

3. Is function a relation?
To see if the relation is a function, check if the X in all the coordinates are the same or different. If there are any similar numbers for the X then that relation is not a function. If there are no similar numbers for te X then that relation is a function.
